ABSTRACT

Our paper [The motion of a second class particle for the TASEP starting from a decreasing shock profile. Ann. Appl. Probab., 2005, 15, N2, 1227-1259] dealt with a strong law of large numbers for a single second class particle initially at the origin in a TASEP (totally asymmetric exclusion process) starting with an initial configuration of first class particles distributed independently as Bernoulli random variables of parameter $\lambda$ for $x<0$ and $\rho$ for $x>0$ with $\lambda > \rho$.

Keywords: totally asymmetric exclusion,Seppalainen'svariational formula, second class particle, rarefaction fan
